Stray Kids, BTS, TWICE, NCT 127, ENHYPEN, ATEEZ, And NewJeans Sweep Top Spots On Billboard’s World Albums Chart

 

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on October 22!

Stray Kids’ new mini album “MAXIDENT” entered the chart at No. 1 this week, in addition to debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the Top Album Sales chart, and the Top Current Album Sales chart.

BTS’s anthology album “Proof” stayed strong at No. 2 in its 18th consecutive week on the chart, while their 2018 album “Love Yourself: Tear” climbed back up to No. 13 in its 197th non-consecutive week.

NCT 127’s “2 Baddies” held steady at No. 3 in its fourth consecutive week on the World Albums chart, and it also jumped back up an impressive 82 spots on the Billboard 200 this week.

TWICE’s “BETWEEN 1&2” came in at No. 4 in its seventh week on the World Albums chart, while also extending its record on the Billboard 200 as the longest-charting K-pop album of 2022 by a female artist.

ENHYPEN’s “MANIFESTO : DAY 1” climbed back up to No. 5 in its 11th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, in addition to re-entering the Billboard 200 for a seventh non-consecutive week.

Nearly three months after its release, ATEEZ’s “THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT” re-entered the World Albums chart at No. 8. ATEEZ also re-entered several other Billboard charts this week with both “THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT” and their 2019 track “Say My Name.”

Finally, NewJeans’ debut EP “New Jeans” rounded out the top 15 of the World Albums chart in its 10th consecutive week on the chart.
