iKON Nearly Doubles Their 1st-Week Sales Record With 1st Album Since Leaving YG

iKON is soaring to new heights with their first comeback under their new agency!

Last week, iKON released the physical version of their third full-length album “TAKE OFF” on May 11, exactly one week after its digital release on May 4.

According to Hanteo Chart, “TAKE OFF” sold an impressive total of 97,551 copies on May 11 alone, easily breaking iKON’s previous first-week sales record of 73,362 (set by their previous mini album “FLASHBACK“) in just one day of sales.

Hanteo Chart and 143 Entertainment have now reported that “TAKE OFF” went on to sell a total of 121,721 copies in the first week of its release (May 11 to 17), nearly doubling iKON’s personal record from last year.

Notably, “TAKE OFF” marks iKON’s first comeback since leaving YG Entertainment and signing with 143 Entertainment at the beginning of this year.
