TXT Becomes 2nd K-Pop Artist In History To Chart An Album In Top 3 Of Billboard 200 For 2 Weeks

TXT has just achieved an impressive feat on the Billboard 200!

Last week, TXT’s new mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s famous Top 200 Albums chart, earning the biggest U.S. sales week of any album since Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” first entered the chart back in November 2022.

On February 12 local time, Billboard officially announced that “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” had successfully remained in the top 3 of the Billboard 200 for a second consecutive week. For the week ending on February 18, the mini album stayed strong at No. 3 after earning a total of 48,000 equivalent album units in its second week (according to Luminate).

TXT is now only the second K-pop artist in history ever to chart an album for more than one week in the top 3 of the Billboard 200, following BTS.

“The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” is also the first K-pop album to achieve the feat since BTS’s “BE” in 2020—and only the fourth overall, following BTS’s “Map of the Soul: Persona,” “Map of the Soul: 7,” and “BE.”
