In a week marked by significant achievements, NewJeans has not only sustained their momentum but also broken new grounds on the Billboard charts, setting a remarkable precedent in the K-pop industry.

Billboard, on September 12 local time, disclosed that NewJeans’ recent mini-album “Get Up” has maintained its position in the top 30 of the Top 200 Albums chart for an impressive seventh consecutive week, currently holding the 28th spot. This accomplishment makes them the first female K-pop act, and the second K-pop artist after BTS, to secure a spot in the top 30 of the Billboard 200 for seven straight weeks.

Adding to their growing list of accolades, the “Get Up” album has also marked its sixth non-consecutive week at the pinnacle of Billboard’s World Albums chart. This feat places them as the second K-pop girl group to dominate this chart for six weeks, a record previously held by BLACKPINK with “THE ALBUM.

But the milestones don’t stop here. The group’s popular single “Super Shy” has made a grand entry at number 38 on the Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, a first for NewJeans. This chart reflects the weekly rotations on mainstream Top 40 radio stations throughout the United States, and NewJeans now joins the ranks of other K-pop girl groups like BLACKPINK, LOONA, TWICE, (G)I-DLE, and FIFTY FIFTY who have graced this chart.

NewJeans continues to soar on various other Billboard charts, with “Get Up” securing the third and fourth positions on the Top Current Album Sales and Top Album Sales charts, respectively. Moreover, it has ascended to the fifth position on the Tastemaker Albums chart.

In terms of individual recognition, NewJeans has clinched the 24th spot on this week’s Artist 100, marking their eleventh week on this prestigious chart. Furthermore, several tracks from the group have made notable appearances on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and the Global 200, with “Super Shy” leading the pack, followed by other hits like “ETA”, “OMG”, “Ditto”, “New Jeans”, and “Hype Boy”.
