NewJeans Becomes Fastest K-Pop Girl Group To Debut On UK’s Official Singles Chart With “Ditto”
NewJeans has just made K-pop history in the United Kingdom!
On January 13 local time, the United Kingdom’s Official Charts (typically regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that NewJeans’ hit single “Ditto” had become their first song ever to enter its Official Singles Chart.
For the week of January 13 to 19, “Ditto” debuted at No. 95 on the Official Singles Chart.
NewJeans has now become the fastest K-pop girl group in history to enter the Official Singles Chart, having achieved the feat less than six months after their debut.
