NCT DREAM is topping music charts across the globe with their new winter album!

On December 16 at 6 p.m. KST, NCT DREAM digitally released their winter special mini album “Candy” and its title track: a brand-new remake of H.O.T.’s iconic 1996 hit of the same name. (The physical version of the album will drop on December 19.)

Immediately upon its release, both the album and its title track shot to the top of music charts both within Korea and abroad. By 10 a.m. KST on December 17, “Candy” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 16 different regions around the world, including Japan, Australia, Denmark, India, Chile, Indonesia, Russia, Malaysia, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and the Philippines.

“Candy” also reached No. 1 on QQ Music’s digital album sales chart in China, where it earned an official platinum certification.

Additionally, NCT DREAM’s new version of the song “Candy” topped not only Korean realtime music charts such as Bugs and Vibe, but also AWA’s realtime music chart in Japan.

After premiering their new remake of “Candy” at the 2022 KBS Song Festival, NCT DREAM will be performing the song—as well as their new B-side “Graduation”—on the December 17 episode of MBC’s “Music Core.”
