ITZY Becomes 3rd K-Pop Girl Group In History To Chart 3 Different Albums For Multiple Weeks On Billboard 200
ITZY has just achieved an impressive feat on the Billboard 200!
On December 20 local time, Billboard revealed that after making a strong debut at No. 25 last week, ITZY’s latest mini album “CHESHIRE” had successfully remained on its Top 200 Albums chart for a second consecutive week. For the week ending on December 24, “CHESHIRE” charted at No. 170.
ITZY is now only the third K-pop girl group in history—following TWICE and BLACKPINK—to have three different albums chart for more than one week each on the Billboard 200. The group spent two weeks on the chart with their 2021 album “CRAZY IN LOVE” last year, while their previous mini album “CHECKMATE” spent three weeks on the chart this past summer.
“CHESHIRE” also continued to rank high on several other Billboard charts this week: the mini album came in at No. 3 on the World Albums chart, No. 10 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 17 on the Top Album Sales chart.
