BTS’s RM Becomes 1st Korean Soloist Ever To Spend 3 Weeks In Top 40 Of Billboard 200

BTS’s RM continues to set new records with his solo album “Indigo”!

After becoming the first Korean solo artist in history to enter the top 3 of the Billboard 200 last week, RM has made Billboard history yet again.

For the week ending on January 7, “Indigo” stayed strong at No. 39 on the Billboard 200, making RM the first Korean soloist ever to have an album spend three weeks in the top 40 of the chart. (After debuting at No. 15 last month, the album re-entered the chart at No. 3 last week.)

“Indigo” also enjoyed a third week at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, in addition to sweeping the No. 2 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.

Additionally, RM’s title track “Wild Flower” (featuring Cho Youjeen) came in at No. 14 in its fourth week on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, while RM ranked No. 65 on the Artist 100 in his fourth non-consecutive week on the chart.
