aespa’s “MY WORLD” Marks First Album to Secure 3 Weeks in Billboard 200’s Top 110
aespa's "MY WORLD" Continues Strong Performance on Billboard Charts
aespa‘s “MY WORLD” continues its impressive run on the Billboard charts, marking a new milestone for the group.
Earlier this month, aespa set a new record as the fastest K-pop girl group to have two albums in the top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, with “MY WORLD” making its debut at No. 9.
Despite “MY WORLD” being initially released in Korea and on digital platforms on May 8, the mini album’s physical release in the United States was delayed until June 30. This means that while the songs have been available for download and streaming in the United States since May, the album’s debut on the U.S. charts came nearly two months after its initial release.
For the week ending on July 29, “MY WORLD” secured its third consecutive week on the Billboard 200 at No. 110, marking it as aespa’s first album to chart in the top 110 for three weeks.
“MY WORLD” also maintained high rankings on several other Billboard charts: the mini album ranked No. 3 on the World Albums chart, No. 6 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, No. 7 on the Top Album Sales chart, and No. 11 on the Tastemaker Albums chart this week.
In addition, aespa held their position at No. 50 in their ninth non-consecutive week on Billboard’s Artist 100, extending their own record as the K-pop girl group with the fourth most cumulative weeks on the chart, following TWICE, BLACKPINK, and FIFTY FIFTY.
Lastly, aespa’s title track “Spicy” maintained its position for an 11th consecutive week on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 115.
