ZEROBASEONE Shatters Debut Album Sales Record with "Youth in the Shade"

ZEROBASEONE, a new K-pop sensation, has set an unprecedented record with their debut album “Youth in the Shade,” selling over a million copies on the first day.

ZEROBASEONE, the new sensation in the K-pop world, has made an extraordinary entry into the music scene with their debut mini album “Youth in the Shade.” This project group, formed on the popular Mnet survival show “Boys Planet,” has set an unprecedented record in K-pop history.

According to Hanteo Chart, the debut mini album “Youth in the Shade” sold a staggering 1,240,700 copies on its first day of sales alone. This achievement marks the first time a debut album has sold over a million copies in a single day, let alone a week.

The record-breaking sales of “Youth in the Shade” have not only set a new benchmark for the highest first-day sales of any debut album in Hanteo history but have also shattered the record for the highest first-week sales of any debut album in just one day.

The previous records were held by another Mnet survival show project group, X1, whose debut mini album “Quantum Leap” sold 268,008 copies on its first day and 524,007 copies in its first week back in 2019.

Moreover, ZEROBASEONE has now joined the ranks of the top five male artists with the highest first-day sales in Hanteo history, a list that includes renowned groups like SEVENTEEN, BTS, Stray Kids, and TXT.

This remarkable achievement by ZEROBASEONE is a testament to their potential and the anticipation surrounding their music. As the group continues their journey in the music industry, fans and critics alike are eagerly waiting to see what new heights they will reach.
