Watch: ATEEZ Announces December Comeback + Drops 1st Teasers Through QR Codes Mysteriously Posted In Hongdae And Japan

The year isn’t over yet: before 2022 winds to a close, ATEEZ will be sending it off with one final comeback!

On December 12, ATEEZ wrapped up the second night of their Chiba concert in Japan with a mysterious video hinting at their next comeback.

That same day, fans noticed unmarked posters of “HALATEEZ” in the Hongdae neighborhood of Seoul, as well as the venue of ATEEZ’s Chiba concert. (“HALATEEZ” are the “HALA HALA” versions of ATEEZ, which are considered to be the members in a different dimension within ATEEZ lore.) Just like the mysterious posters sprinkled around Hongdae and Madrid for ATEEZ’s last comeback with “Guerrilla,” these new posters featured QR codes as well.

The QR codes took fans to an Instagram account that had posted both ATEEZ’s comeback poster and the teaser video from the concert earlier that day, which cryptically asks, “I’VE SEEN IT, WILL YOU?”

As announced in the poster, ATEEZ will be returning with “SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS” on December 30 KST.

According to an unconfirmed report by Korean news outlet Edaily, “SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS” is a brand-new single album, which ATEEZ will promote through the beginning of 2023 ahead of the European leg of their “THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL” world tour.
