TXT Dominates Billboard with “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL”
TXT's Unprecedented Achievements with Multiple Chart-Toppers
TXT‘s recent album “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL” is making history by not only securing the No. 1 position on several Billboard charts but also showcasing their consistency in the music industry. Earlier, Billboard highlighted that the album debuted as the top-selling album of the week in the U.S., while also securing a No. 3 position on the revered Top 200 Albums chart. With this, TXT joins the elite league of K-pop artists, being only the second to register nine entries on the Billboard 200.
The accolades don’t stop there. During the week ending October 28, both the album and its flagship track “Chasing That Feeling” reigned supreme across five distinctive charts, all at the No. 1 position. These charts include the Top Current Album Sales, Tastemaker Albums, and World Albums, a testament to TXT’s soaring popularity.
The track “Chasing That Feeling” further marked its dominance by capturing the No. 1 spot on the World Digital Song Sales chart. Impressively, five of TXT’s songs featured in the top 10 of this chart, with other tracks like “Growing Pain”, “Blue Spring”, “Dreamer”, and “Deep Down” making their presence felt.
Furthermore, TXT marked their return to Billboard’s Artist 100, securing the No. 2 spot. This accomplishment further solidifies their standing in the K-pop arena, holding the record for the second-most cumulative weeks on this chart, surpassed only by BTS.
On the Global 200 front, “Chasing That Feeling” made its debut at No. 72, while also marking its presence at No. 12 on the main Digital Song Sales chart and No. 46 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
Another feather in TXT’s cap is their distinction as the second male K-pop group (after BTS) to have two songs simultaneously on the Global 200. Their track “Back for More” with Anitta made a comeback on both the Global Excl. U.S. chart and the Global 200, showcasing their unwavering appeal to global audiences.
