Stray Kids achieves a significant milestone by charting in the top 25 of the Billboard 200 for four consecutive weeks with their latest album, joining K-pop giants BTS and TXT.
The album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” made a thunderous debut last month, clinching the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart. This achievement was historic in itself, as Stray Kids became the first K-pop artist to top the chart with their first three entries, a record previously held by global sensation Harry Styles.
On July 5th, Billboard announced that “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” has maintained its position on the Billboard 200 for the fourth consecutive week, ranking at No. 24. This is a first for Stray Kids, as it’s their debut album to spend four weeks in the top 100.
With this achievement, Stray Kids has joined the ranks of BTS and TXT, becoming only the third K-pop boy group to have an album chart in the top 25 of the Billboard 200 for four weeks.
But that’s not all. “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” continues to dominate other charts as well. It holds strong at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart and also secures the No. 2 position on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart. Moreover, it has made a resurgence to No. 4 on the Tastemaker Albums chart.
Stray Kids also made their presence felt on Billboard’s Artist 100, ranking at No. 14, marking their 24th week on the chart.
The title track of the album, “S-Class”, has also made waves globally. It secured No. 95 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 155 on the Global 200, maintaining its position for the fourth week on both charts.
This series of achievements by Stray Kids with “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” is a testament to their growing global popularity and the impact they are making in the music industry. The group has not only captured the hearts of fans but has also etched its name in the annals of music history. As Stray Kids continues to rise, the world eagerly awaits what they will bring to the table next.
