SM Entertainment’s new boy group, RIIZE, is all set to make their debut this September!
On July 31, SM Entertainment officially unveiled their plans to launch a new seven-member boy group, RIIZE, this fall.
The name RIIZE, a fusion of the words “RISE” and “REALIZE,” signifies the group’s collective ambition to “rise and realize their dreams together.” The group’s musical genre has been defined as “emotional pop.”
SM Entertainment stated, “RIIZE comprises seven exceptional members who possess both talent and visual appeal. Each member, with their unique characteristics and strengths, will embark on a new ‘realtime odyssey’ as a unified team, aiming to carve a new chapter in music history.”
RIIZE, which is SM Entertainment’s first new group since aespa’s debut in 2020, will launch an official Instagram account on August 1. The members will be introduced ahead of the group’s much-anticipated debut in September.
