PENTAGON’s Agency Briefly Comments On Reports Of Hui Competing In “Boys Planet”

Cube Entertainment has released a brief statement regarding PENTAGON’s Hui’s participation in Mnet’s upcoming audition show “Boys Planet.”

On December 19, Edaily reported that Hui had auditioned to be a participant on “Boys Planet” and that he is currently filming for the program. “Boys Planet” is the male version of the 2021 audition show that gave rise to the girl group Kep1er. Earlier this year, it was confirmed that the show will premiere in February 2023.

In response to the reports, a source from PENTAGON’s agency Cube Entertainment briefly stated, “We cannot confirm whether or not Hui will be participating in ‘Boys Planet.’”

Hui made his debut in 2016 as a member of PENTAGON. In November, Hui was discharged from the military.
