NewJeans Debuts On Billboard’s Hot 100, Making Them 4th And Fastest K-Pop Girl Group Ever To Do So

NewJeans has just made Billboard history!

On January 17 local time, Billboard announced that NewJeans’ hit single “Ditto” had debuted at No. 96 on the Hot 100 (its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States), marking the group’s first-ever entry on the chart.

With this achievement, NewJeans has become only the fourth K-pop girl group in history to enter the Hot 100, following Wonder Girls, BLACKPINK, and TWICE—and only the fifth K-pop group overall (with the addition of BTS).

Furthermore, having debuted less than six months ago, they are now also the fastest K-pop group ever to enter the chart.
