Jungkook’s "Seven" Sets Unprecedented Spotify Streaming Records

Jungkook of BTS has added yet another feather to his cap by rewriting Spotify’s record books!

October 14 marked a significant achievement for Jungkook as his iconic debut single “Seven” (collaborating with Latto) soared past 900 million streams on Spotify. This accomplishment stands out as the track became the swiftest to reach this landmark on the streaming giant, taking only 92 days. The previous record, held by Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers”, stood at 93 days.

Parallelly, Jungkook’s dynamic single “3D”, a collaboration with Jack Harlow, touched the 100 million streams milestone on the same date. These figures indicate that the aggregate streams for tracks from Jungkook’s imminent solo album “GOLDEN”—which houses both “Seven” and “3D”—have eclipsed the 1 billion mark even before its official release slated for November 3.

Earlier in July, “Seven” (featuring Latto) etched its name in Spotify’s annals by being the pioneer song from a K-pop solo artist to debut at the pinnacle of the Global Top Songs chart. This groundbreaking debut positioned Jungkook as the inaugural male artist globally to breach the 15 million first-day streams for a fresh track on Spotify, second only to the legendary Taylor Swift.
