BTS‘s Jungkook sets a new milestone on Spotify with his solo debut single “Seven,” surpassing 15 million first-day streams. Join the celebration of this historic achievement and explore the global success of his captivating music.

BTS’s Jungkook has rewritten the record books on Spotify with his official solo debut single, “Seven,” achieving a groundbreaking milestone.

On July 14, Jungkook released “Seven,” featuring Latto, captivating fans worldwide and immediately topping iTunes charts in multiple countries. The song’s music video, starring Han So Hee, also garnered impressive views within its first 24 hours.

“Seven” has now cemented its place in Spotify history. With an astounding 15,995,378 filtered streams on its debut day, the song soared to No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Top Songs charts.

Jungkook becomes the first male artist, aside from Taylor Swift, to surpass 15 million first-day streams on Spotify. This remarkable achievement places him among an elite group, with only two songs in Spotify’s history achieving higher first-day streams: Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero” and “Lavender Haze.”

Not only did “Seven” break records for male artists on Spotify, but it also became the first song by a K-pop soloist to debut at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Top Songs chart. (Jungkook’s fellow bandmate Jimin previously topped the chart with his debut track “Like Crazy,” initially debuting at No. 2 and rising to No. 1 the following day.)

The instrumental version of “Seven” also made an impact, debuting at No. 65 on Spotify’s Global Top Songs chart. Additionally, Jungkook’s previously released solo tracks, “Still With You” and “My Time,” secured impressive rankings at No. 54 and No. 113, respectively.

Beyond Spotify, “Seven” achieved further success, debuting at No. 1 on Oricon’s daily digital singles chart in Japan and reaching the pinnacle of Melon’s Top 100 and various realtime charts in Korea.
