Jungkook Matches PSY’s Billboard Hot 100 Stint with “Too Much” Release
BTS’s Jungkook Rides High on Billboard Charts, Ties with Iconic PSY
Jungkook, the golden maknae of BTS, achieves yet another milestone, now standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the legendary PSY in terms of Billboard Hot 100 entries. The recent collaboration “Too Much” with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee debuted at a commendable No. 44 on the Hot 100 for the week ending November 4. This marks Jungkook’s fifth solo appearance on the chart, effectively equating PSY’s notable record.
His earlier chart-toppers include the “7 Fates: CHAKHO” OST “Stay Alive” (an alliance with Suga), the dynamic “Left and Right” with Charlie Puth, his solo breakout “Seven” (featuring Latto), and the widely acclaimed “3D” (featuring Jack Harlow). Notably, “3D” made an impressive leap to No. 75 after its initial debut at No. 5.
Besides its Hot 100 presence, “Too Much” clinched the top spot on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart and secured the No. 25 position on the Pop Airplay chart. Concurrently, “3D” soared to an all-time high of No. 24 on the Pop Airplay. As a testament to his unstoppable momentum, Jungkook revisits the Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 71, celebrating his 11-week presence, a first for any Korean solo artist.
