ITZY's "KILL MY DOUBT" Album Dominates Global iTunes Charts and Shatters First-Day Sales Record

 

ITZY, the renowned K-pop girl group, has made a triumphant comeback with their latest mini album “KILL MY DOUBT,” featuring the hit title track “CAKE.” Released on July 31 at 6 p.m. KST, the album has already made a significant impact on the global music scene.

Within a mere four hours of its release, “KILL MY DOUBT” skyrocketed to the top of various iTunes charts worldwide. By 10 p.m. KST on the same day, the album had clinched the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 14 different regions, including Australia, Brazil, and Vietnam, with the number continuing to rise.

In addition to its international success, “KILL MY DOUBT” has also made a significant impact on the domestic front. According to Hanteo Chart, the album sold an impressive total of 318,352 copies on its first day of sales alone. This achievement breaks ITZY’s previous first-day sales record of 275,189 set by their last mini album “CHESHIRE” in the previous year.
