BTS’s RM Becomes 1st Korean Male Soloist In History To Spend 4 Weeks On Billboard 200

BTS’s RM has made Billboard history once again with “Indigo“!

On January 10, Billboard revealed that RM’s solo album “Indigo” had successfully remained on its Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States, for a fourth non-consecutive week. For the week ending on January 14, “Indigo” ranked No. 71 on the Billboard 200.

RM is now the first Korean male soloist ever to chart an album for four weeks on the Billboard 200—and only the second Korean soloist overall (following TWICE‘s Nayeon, who spent five weeks on the chart with her solo debut EP last year).

“Indigo” also stayed strong at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, in addition to sweeping the No. 3 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.

Additionally, RM came in at No. 71 on this week’s Artist 100, making him the first Korean male soloist in history to spend five weeks on the chart.
