BTS’s Jin is dominating iTunes charts across the globe with his new solo single!
On October 28, Jin dropped his first official solo single “The Astronaut,” which he personally co-wrote together with Coldplay. Immediately upon its release, the song soared to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries around the world.
According to Big Hit Music, as of 9 a.m. KST on October 29, “The Astronaut” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 97 different regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Canada.
Meanwhile, the music video for “The Astronaut” managed to rack up over 15.3 million views in just the first 20 hours of its release.
