BTS Takes Home 3 Awards At People’s Choice Awards + Wins The Group Award For 3rd Consecutive Year

BTS has won big once again at this year’s People’s Choice Awards!

On December 6 local time, the 2022 People’s Choice Awards took place in Santa Monica, California. BTS won in three categories including The Group of 2022, The Concert Tour of 2022, and The Collaboration of 2022.

This is the third consecutive year since 2020 (after winning in 2018) in which BTS has snagged The Group of the Year award, an impressive feat solidifying their global reach. BTS’s “Permission to Dance on Stage” concert also won The Concert Tour of 2022. Earlier this month, BTS was revealed to be the only artist to earn two of Billboard’s Top 5 Boxscores of 2022 on the year-end charts. With their concerts from Seoul to Los Angeles and Las Vegas, the group amassed a total of 458,144 attendees over 11 concerts.

Finally, BTS’s Jungkook and Charlie Puth’s collaboration song “Left and Right” won The Collaboration of 2022 award. The hit collab single also ranked high on Billboard’s year-end Global 200 chart, coming in at No. 106, and the Digital Song Sales chart, ranking at No. 30.
