BTS Makes History As “Boy With Luv” Becomes Their 1st MV To Hit 1.6 Billion Views




BTS’s “Boy With Luv” continues to make YouTube history!

On November 5 at approximately 6:35 p.m. KST, BTS’s music video for their 2019 hit “Boy With Luv” (featuring Halsey) surpassed 1.6 billion views on YouTube, making it the first Korean boy group music video ever to achieve the feat.

The only other Korean music videos to have reached the milestone to date on YouTube are PSY‘s “Gangnam Style,” BLACKPINK‘s “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” and BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love.”

BTS originally released the music video for “Boy With Luv” on April 12, 2019 at 6 p.m. KST, meaning that it took the song just over 3 years, 6 months, and 24 days to hit the 1.6 billion mark.
