BTS Achieves 12th Silver Certification in UK with Album “BTS, THE BEST”

BTS adds another feather to their cap as “BTS, THE BEST”, their 2021 Japanese greatest hits album, earns a silver certification in the United Kingdom. Announced by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) on October 6, this accolade marks the 12th time the global superstars have achieved this honor, underscoring their immense popularity and influence in the international music arena.

The silver BRIT certification is a significant recognition in the UK music industry. According to the BPI’s established certification thresholds, an album is awarded a silver certification upon reaching sales of 60,000 units, while singles receive the same recognition at 200,000 units sold. “BTS, THE BEST” proudly joins the group’s extensive list of albums that have previously attained this prestigious status.

BTS’s silver-certified album repertoire in the UK includes iconic works such as “Love Yourself: Answer”, “Map of the Soul: Persona”, “Love Yourself: Tear”, “Map of the Soul: 7”, “Love Yourself: Her”, “Face Yourself”, “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever”, “You Never Walk Alone”, “WINGS”, “Map of the Soul: 7 The Journey”, and “Proof”. Each album not only showcases BTS’s musical evolution but also reflects their ability to connect with audiences worldwide, further cementing their position as global music icons.
