BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” Spends 6th Week On Billboard 200
BLACKPINK’s latest album is still going strong on the Billboard charts!
Back in September, BLACKPINK made history when their second studio album “BORN PINK” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart (its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States), making them the first female K-pop artist ever to top the U.S. main albums chart.
On November 1, Billboard revealed that “BORN PINK” had successfully remained on the Billboard 200 for a sixth consecutive week. For the week ending on November 5, the album charted at No. 100.
Outside of the Billboard 200, “BORN PINK” also stayed strong at No. 23 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 27 on the Top Album Sales chart this week.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s hit pre-release single “Pink Venom” spent its ninth week in the top 10 of Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 8, followed by the group’s latest title track “Shut Down” at No. 15 (in its sixth week).
Both songs also remained on both the Global 200 and the Global Excl. U.S. chart this week: “Shut Down” ranked No. 31 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 40 on the Global 200, while “Pink Venom” followed at No. 35 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 53 on the Global 200.
