K-pop sensation ATEEZ has made a triumphant entry on the Billboard 200 chart, securing the No. 2 spot with their latest mini-album “THE WORLD EP.2 : OUTLAW.”

On June 25, Billboard revealed that ATEEZ’s new release had made an impressive debut at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, which is a weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States. This achievement marks ATEEZ’s highest position on the chart to date.

Luminate (previously known as Nielsen Music) reported that “THE WORLD EP.2 : OUTLAW” garnered a total of 105,500 equivalent album units in the week ending June 22. This was a narrow margin of just 4,500 units behind the No. 1 album of the week, Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time.”

Breaking down the album’s performance, 101,000 units came from traditional album sales, making “THE WORLD EP.2 : OUTLAW” the top-selling album of the week. This also marks ATEEZ’s most significant U.S. sales week to date. Additionally, the album earned 4,500 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which is equivalent to 6.32 million on-demand audio streams for the week.

This is a monumental achievement for ATEEZ, as “THE WORLD EP.2 : OUTLAW” is their first album to reach the top 2 of the Billboard 200. It is also their third top 10 album, following “THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT” and “SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS,” which previously peaked at No. 3 and No. 7, respectively. In total, ATEEZ has made five entries on the Billboard 200 chart.

ATEEZ joins an elite group of K-pop boy bands that have achieved a top 2 position on the Billboard 200, including BTS, SuperM, Stray Kids, TXT, and SEVENTEEN.

With this remarkable achievement, ATEEZ continues to solidify their position as a global K-pop powerhouse, captivating audiences with their unique sound and style. Fans are eagerly awaiting what the group has in store for the future.
