Jungkook's "Seven" Matches BTS's "Dynamite" Record on Billboard Global 200

Jungkook of BTS continues to make waves in the music industry, especially on the Billboard charts. His recent single “Seven”, featuring Latto, not only debuted at No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts but has now equaled the record set by BTS’s own “Dynamite”.

In a remarkable achievement last month, Jungkook became the inaugural Korean solo artist to launch a song at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, Global 200, and Global Excl. U.S. chart. This feat was marked by his track “Seven”.

Further solidifying his position, “Seven” has now celebrated its fourth consecutive week at No. 1 on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts. This accomplishment makes Jungkook the premier Korean solo artist to dominate either chart for such a duration.

Highlighting the significance of this achievement, “Seven” and “Dynamite” are the exclusive tracks by a Korean act to relish four weeks at the pinnacle of Billboard’s Global 200.

On the Hot 100 chart, which represents the top songs in the U.S., “Seven” ascended to No. 28 in its fourth week. This places Jungkook as only the second Korean solo artist to maintain a position in the top 30 for four successive weeks, a first since PSY’s iconic “Gangnam Style” in 2012.

Billboard also spotlighted “Seven” as the inaugural track in the Global Excl. U.S. chart’s history to debut with a consistent four-week run of surpassing 100 million weekly streams outside the U.S. Luminate’s data indicates that “Seven” accumulated an impressive 101.9 million streams internationally in its fourth week.

In the U.S., “Seven” made notable progress on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, which evaluates weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations. In its fourth week, the track reached a new zenith, securing the No. 19 spot.
