ATEEZ Tops Oricon’s Weekly Combined Album Chart For The 1st Time; TREASURE, Stray Kids, And SEVENTEEN Rank In Top Spots
Oricon has released their latest weekly combined album chart!
According to Oricon on December 9, ATEEZ’s newly released third Japanese mini album “THE WORLD EP. PARADIGM” has taken the top spot on Oricon’s weekly combined album chart with 64,348 points! This ranking combines the number of physical album sales, digital downloads, and streams, and is ATEEZ’s first time at the top of this chart.
As soon as ATEEZ released “THE WORLD EP. PARADIGM” on November 30, the album shot to the top of Oricon’s daily, weekly, and now combined weekly charts, demonstrating their growing popularity in Japan and across Asia.
On top of their success on Oricon, ATEEZ also took the top spot on Billboard Japan’s Hot Album chart and ranked in third on the Artist 100 chart. ATEEZ additionally took No. 1 on Tower Records’ weekly album sales chart.
The No. 2 spot went to TREASURE, who earned 56,807 points with their latest Japanese mini album “THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER TWO.”
With albums released earlier this year, Stray Kids and SEVENTEEN were also in the top 10 of this week’s combined album chart! Stray Kids came in No. 4 with 21,577 points for “MAXIDENT,” while SEVENTEEN’s first Japanese EP “DREAM” took No. 7 with 8,442 points.
