NCT 127 Becomes K-Pop Artist With 2nd Most Cumulative Weeks On Billboard’s Artist 100
NCT 127 achieved more than one impressive feat on the Billboard charts this week!
On December 6 local time, Billboard revealed that NCT 127 had re-entered the Artist 100 at No. 97, marking their 48th non-consecutive week on the chart.
With this re-entry, NCT 127 has now overtaken EXO to become the K-pop artist with the second most cumulative weeks on Billboard’s Artist 100, bested only by BTS.
Nearly three months after its release, NCT 127’s latest album “2 Baddies” also climbed back up the Billboard 200 this week. In what marks its seventh overall week on the chart, the album jumped 71 spots from last week’s No. 183 to No. 112.
NCT 127 is only the second K-pop artist in history to have three different albums chart on the Billboard 200 for seven weeks each (following BTS). The group’s previous two albums, “Neo Zone” and “Sticker,” both charted for over seven weeks each after their respective releases in 2020 and 2021.
However, the Billboard 200 wasn’t the only Billboard chart that “2 Baddies” climbed back up this week. In addition to holding onto its spot at No. 3 in its 11th week on the World Albums chart, “2 Baddies” rose to No. 7 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, No. 11 on the Top Album Sales chart, and No. 12 on the Independent Albums chart.
