On August 25 at approximately 3:56 p.m. KST, BTS’s music video for “Butter” hit 800 million views on YouTube. “Butter” was originally released on May 21, 2021 at 1 p.m. KST meaning that it took the video just around one year, three months, and 4 days to reach the milestone.
“Butter” is now BTS’s eighth music video to gather 800 million views after “DNA,” “Boy With Luv,” “Fake Love,” “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix),” “IDOL,” “Dynamite,” and “Blood Sweat & Tears.”
