SEVENTEEN Becomes 2nd Artist In Hanteo History To Surpass 2 Million Album Sales In 1st Week

SEVENTEEN has made Hanteo history!

Although the official full-week count has yet to be announced since the release of SEVENTEEN’s latest studio album “Face the Sun,” the group has already surpassed 2 million copies, earning themselves the title of a double million seller!

According to Hanteo Chart, SEVENTEEN’s “Face the Sun” surpassed 2 million album sales on June 2, after being released on May 27.

Right after the album’s release, SEVENTEEN nearly doubled their first-day album sales with 1,758,565 copies sold in one day, earning their fourth million seller title.

Not only is SEVENTEEN’s new sales record with “Face The Sun” currently on track to be the fourth highest first-week sales record in Hanteo history, it also makes SEVENTEEN only the second artist in Hanteo history to surpass 2 million sales in the first week of release (bested only by BTS).

SEVENTEEN’s official first-week sales period ended on June 2 at 11:59 p.m. KST, so the official sales total will be announced soon.
