NewJeans Marks 6 Weeks on UK’s Official Singles Chart with “Super Shy”
NewJeans Joins Elite K-Pop Groups with Consistent UK Chart Presence
NewJeans‘ track “Super Shy” continues to make waves on the UK’s Official Singles Chart.
Earlier in July, NewJeans set a record as the quickest K-pop girl group to introduce multiple tracks on the Official Singles Chart, a benchmark in the UK analogous to the US’s Billboard Hot 100. Their song “Super Shy” made a notable entry at No. 59.
Since its debut, “Super Shy” has showcased remarkable consistency on the chart, always maintaining a position within the top 80. From August 17 to 23, the song secured the No. 77 spot, celebrating its sixth week in a row on the Official Singles Chart.
It’s worth highlighting that NewJeans joins an exclusive club, becoming the third K-pop girl group to maintain a song on the Official Singles Chart for six weeks, joining the ranks of renowned groups BLACKPINK and FIFTY FIFTY.
