KBS has finalized more details about the upcoming “Music Bank” world tour stop in Chile!
In August, NoiX Entertainment announced that “Music Bank” would start up its world tour again after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19. For the third time, “Music Bank” was confirmed to return to Chile to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first “Music Bank in Chile” back in 2012.
The upcoming “Music Bank in Chile” event will be held on November 12 with performers NCT DREAM, (G)I-DLE, TXT, ATEEZ, THE BOYZ, and STAYC, who will greet an audience of over 47,000 fans.
On November 9, KBS shared, “The ‘Music Bank’ world tour that began in 2011 will hold its 15th performance in Chile this year for ‘Music Bank in Chile.’ Artist and actor [SF9’s] Rowoon has been chosen as the MC and will guide the performances.”
New “Music Bank” world tour MC Rowoon has gained tons of popularity through his roles in dramas like “Extraordinary You,” “The King’s Affection,” “Tomorrow,” and more. He will be receiving the “MC baton” from Park Bo Gum, a longtime former MC of “Music Bank” and its various world tour special episodes.
The producers of the “Music Bank” world tour commented, “It feels new for both the producers and artists that the ‘Music Bank’ world tour is continuing after three years. This event is particularly special as KBS and Chile’s national broadcaster TVN has created the biggest K-pop festival ever with 47,000 audience members. Through ‘Music Bank in Chile,’ we will showcase legendary performances that capture the originality of K-pop festivals. Please look forward to it.”
“Music Bank in Chile” will be held on November 12 at 8 p.m. local time at the Estadio Monumental Stadium. The performances will be broadcast this December via KBS 2TV.
