TXT’s latest Japanese comeback is off to an impressive start!
On September 3, Oricon officially announced that TXT’s new Japanese single “GOOD BOY GONE BAD” had risen to No. 1 on its daily singles chart dated September 2. In the first four days of its release, the single has sold 345,916 copies in Japan.
Additionally, TXT has now been dominating both Line Music’s daily chart and realtime chart for 11 days in a row. After their pre-release track “Ring” topped both charts for seven consecutive days, the Japanese version of their hit title track “Good Boy Gone Bad” took over both No. 1 spots immediately upon its release on August 31.
“Good Boy Gone Bad” has since gone on to remain No. 1 on both charts for the past four days, making it TXT’s fourth song to spend over 100 hours at No. 1 on Line Music’s realtime chart.
Meanwhile, “Ring” also topped Line Music’s latest weekly chart (for the week of August 24 to 30).
