NewJeans Sets Billboard Record with Album “Get Up” Charting for 10 Weeks in Top 60

NewJeans is rewriting the record books on the Billboard charts with their groundbreaking album “Get Up”. The album not only entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1, marking the fastest debut by a female K-pop act, but it has also maintained its position in the Top 60 for an impressive ten weeks, underscoring NewJeans’ enduring popularity and global appeal.

Two months ago, the world witnessed NewJeans making history with “Get Up”, and the album continues to receive love and support from fans worldwide, holding steadfast in the chart’s upper echelons.

With “Get Up” ranking at No. 60 in its tenth week on the Billboard 200, NewJeans has achieved a first for female K-pop artists, demonstrating their significant impact on the international music scene.

The album isn’t only making waves on the Billboard 200; it also celebrated its ninth non-consecutive week at No. 1 on the World Albums chart. This achievement makes “Get Up” the first album by a K-pop girl group to lead the World Albums chart for nine weeks.

The hit single from the album, “Super Shy”, mirrors the album’s success. It returned to its No. 37 peak on the Pop Airplay chart in its fourth week, reflecting its widespread play on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States.

“Get Up” also secured the No. 10 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart, marking its tenth week on both charts.

On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, “Super Shy” remains strong at No. 17, with other singles from the album, including “ETA”, “OMG”, “Ditto”, and “Hype Boy”, also charting. “Super Shy” also ranked No. 30 on the Global 200, followed by “ETA” and “OMG”.

To cap off a week of chart successes, NewJeans landed at No. 43 on the Artist 100, marking their fourteenth week on the chart, further cementing their status as global music icons.
