The big names include Olly Alexander, Mel B, Joanna Lumley and Allison Hammond.

A day after the BBC teased the return of the show, it has now announced the big-name stars who’ll be joining to judge and coach this year’s queens.

Joining RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton on the Drag Race UK season four panel are nine celebs from across the entertainment industry including:

Stepping into the studio for Snatch Game – one of Drag Race UK’s most iconic challenges – are ex-Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly and ex-Strictly contestant AJ Odudu.

Comedian Aisling Bea will be dropping by to school the queens on their stand-up jokes, and singer-songwriter Cathy Dennis will be dropping into the Werk Room to deliver a masterclass in making music.

Strictly 2021 champion dancer and choreographer Giovanni Pernice will be sashaying across the runway to coach the Drag Race UK season four queens in a dance challenge.

The announcement has sparked excitement (a lot of which is about Allison Hammond) from fans of the show.

Although there’s no release date or known cast for Drag Race UK season four, speculation is rife about who might be taking part in this year’s show.

Several UK queens dropped off social media earlier this year, including Birmingham-based queen Black Peppa, Manchester-based Cheddar Gorgeous and Dakota Schiffer – who are all rumoured to be part of the line-up.
