Nearly three months after its release, BTS’s anthology album “Proof” has climbed back up the Billboard 200!
On August 23 local time, Billboard revealed that “Proof” had risen to No. 74 in its 11th consecutive week on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart (its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States).
“Proof” also returned to No. 1 on the World Albums chart this week, in addition to staying strong at No. 59 on the Top Current Album Sales chart—while BTS climbed back up to No. 29 on this week’s Artist 100.
Several of BTS’s past hits similarly climbed back up the Billboard charts this week: the group’s long-running 2020 hit “Dynamite” rose to No. 29 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 39 on the Global 200, while their 2021 smash “Butter” jumped to No. 96 and No. 132 respectively. “My Universe,” the group’s collab single with Coldplay, also rose to No. 84 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 126 on the Global 200.
Meanwhile, the BTS members’ more recent collaborations with American artists remained a force to be reckoned with on Billboard’s Hot 100 (which ranks the most popular songs in the United States). Jungkook and Charlie Puth’s single “Left and Right” held steady at No. 44 in its ninth week on the Hot 100 this week, in addition to climbing back up to No. 17 on the Digital Song Sales chart.
“Bad Decisions“—BTS’s Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s collab single with Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg—remained stable at No. 60 in its third week on the Hot 100, and it also held onto its spot at No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart.
“Left and Right” maintained its position at No. 16 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart (which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States), while “Bad Decisions” rose to No. 26.
Finally, “Left and Right” came in at No. 20 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 25 on the Global 200 this week, while “Bad Decisions” charted at No. 38 and No. 37 respectively.
