TXT, has opened up about their exhilarating collaboration with the iconic Jonas Brothers in their new single “Do It Like That”. On July 7, just hours before the much-awaited release at 1 p.m. KST, each of the five TXT members shared their thoughts on the song, which they confidently describe as “the summer song of 2023”.
Soobin, one of the members, enthusiastically spoke about the single, stating, “It’s a song that’s best to listen to in the summer, as opposed to any other season… an exciting song that helps you beat the heat! We worked hard on it whenever we found the time amidst our busy schedule, so I hope everyone will enjoy it together.”
Yeonjun, another member of TXT, expressed his disbelief and excitement about collaborating with the Jonas Brothers, a band he grew up listening to. He said, “I grew up listening to the Jonas Brothers’ music, so I couldn’t believe that we were collaborating like this.” Yeonjun also shared his favorite part of the song, mentioning, “The chorus gets stuck in your head, and the melody is easy for anyone to sing along to right away.”
Beomgyu recalled, “It was our first time recording in the United States, so it was a really fascinating and new experience.” He added, “I think that if you listen to it while driving, it’ll get you energized and excited.”
