Riding high on their successful Japan tour with an audience of 300,000, K-pop group TREASURE is gearing up for another remarkable appearance in Japan. They are scheduled to perform at the ‘Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2024’ (ASEA 2024), set to take place at K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama City on April 10th.
Since their 2020 debut with ‘THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER ONE,’ TREASURE has captivated both Korean and international audiences. Known for their dynamic stage presence and powerful music, they’ve become a standout act in the K-pop scene. Last year, their extensive Asia tour, unit T5 activities, and the release of their second album ‘REBOOT,’ which sold 1.88 million copies, marked a career highlight.
In Japan, TREASURE’s popularity is unmistakable. Their third mini-album ‘REBOOT -JP SPECIAL SELECTION-‘ topped major charts, including Oricon and Billboard Japan. Their second extensive tour in Japan, spanning 7 cities with 16 shows, further solidified their status as exceptional live performers.
ASEA 2024, organized by Newsen and @star1 with the ASEA Organizing Committee and Japan’s ZOZOTOWN, is a platform celebrating top-class K-POP artists and Asian singers. It recognizes their global achievements over the past year, showcasing awe-inspiring performances.
The event boasts a star-studded lineup with MCs Kwon Yuri from Girls’ Generation and Ok Taecyeon from 2PM. The awards will be presented by actors Song Seung-heon and Jeon Yeo-been. Other notable performers include Billlie, Creepy Nuts, DAY6, Fantasy Boys, NCT WISH, INI, JO1, NiziU, SHINee’s Taemin, Stray Kids, STAYC, The Boyz, The Rampage from Exile Tribe, and TO1.
