Seventeen’s Hoshi, renowned for his talent and charisma, has once again demonstrated his deep commitment to philanthropy. On February 7 KST, Northern Gyeonggi Fruit of Love announced that Hoshi had made a generous donation of 100 million won, aimed at supporting children and teenagers in need both within South Korea and internationally.
This noble gesture isn’t a first for Hoshi. In the previous year, he had also donated an identical amount, 100 million won, earning him membership in the prestigious Love Devotees Honor Society for his continuous philanthropic efforts.
The recent donation by Hoshi will contribute significantly towards enhancing classrooms in national orphan schools across the globe. This initiative resonates with Hoshi and his family’s altruistic vision of extending kindness and support beyond national boundaries, making a tangible difference in the lives of underprivileged children.
In a heartfelt statement on the Fruit of Love platform, Hoshi expressed his gratitude towards his fans for their constant support and love. He shared, “I wanted to share the love I’ve received with others.” He further emphasized his aspiration to see children and teenagers, regardless of their location, flourish and grow in a nurturing environment. Hoshi’s commitment goes beyond his musical contributions; as an artist, he strives to be a beacon of positivity and inspiration, leading by example in making the world a better place.
