NewJeans' "Get Up" Marks 15 Weeks on Billboard 200, A Rare Feat for K-Pop Girl Groups

NewJeans continues to dazzle the music world, with their mini album “Get Up” maintaining a significant presence on the Billboard 200 for a remarkable 15 weeks. This mini album not only debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, a feat that established NewJeans as the fastest female K-pop act to enter the chart but has also maintained a consistent chart presence, showcasing the group’s enduring popularity.

For the week ending November 11, “Get Up” marked its 15th consecutive week on the Billboard 200, landing at No. 119. This accomplishment solidifies “Get Up” as the second K-pop girl group album ever to spend 15 weeks on this influential chart. The record for the longest-charting K-pop girl group album still belongs to BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” with its 26-week run.

“Get Up” also continues to perform impressively on other Billboard charts, remaining strong at No. 3 on the World Albums chart and placing well within the Top Current Album Sales and Top Album Sales charts in its 15th week.

Additionally, NewJeans has demonstrated their global appeal with multiple songs charting on Billboard’s global charts. “Super Shy” remains a favorite on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, with other tracks like “ETA,” “Ditto,” and “OMG” showcasing their worldwide resonance.
