BTS‘s V has once again showcased his immense global appeal, this time by reigning supreme on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart.
Billboard, on August 15, unveiled that V had clinched his inaugural No. 1 position as a solo artist on the Hot Trending Songs chart. This particular chart is curated based on the global buzz and discussions related to music happening in real-time on Twitter.
For the week culminating on August 19, V’s recent pre-release singles, “Love Me Again” and “Rainy Days,” made a stellar debut, securing the No. 1 and No. 2 spots respectively.
Adding to the excitement, V’s yet-to-be-released song “Slow Dancing,” which is the main track from his forthcoming solo album “Layover,” made a surprise entry at No. 7, even before its official launch.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t V’s first appearance on the Hot Trending Songs chart as an individual artist. His song “Christmas Tree,” part of the “Our Beloved Summer” OST, had previously reached a peak position of No. 4 on the same chart.
